Shelf Life:

While SSDs can last around 5-10 years under normal use, they can suffer from data degradation if left unpowered for extended periods (often recommended not exceeding one year). The lifespan is also affected by the total number of writes (TBW - Terabytes Written) they can handle before performance degrades.
